My daughter's been Dying to go to this bookstore for years now and I finally broke down to take her,especially since it was her birthday weekend and week so we went and to my surprise they had all kinds of different anime items and their book selection was on point🎯 She purchased a couple of statue figures for reasonable prices and they also had some for 200 and up.But overall the visit to the store was well worth the wait👍💯

I could spend days in this store looking through the wall of figures, keychains, and pins. Overall most of the prices were good and the variety of items is amazing! I had lots of fun and would highly recommend.

Book Off in Manhattan is a true gem and a feel-good place for book and anime-manga fans. Whether you’re hunting for a classic novel, a hard-to-find manga volume, or just browsing for something fun, it’s easy to lose track of time here. What really sets Book Off apart is their very cool buying program—you can sell your books and stuff directly to the store, which makes it more than just a shop. The process is simple and well-organized, and it’s great to see your old favorites find new homes. On top of that, the staff is very helpful and friendly, always ready to answer questions, help you locate items, or explain the buying process. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the constantly changing selection means every visit feels fresh.

Must visit if you’re a book/anime/game fan. I could spend hours in there, everything is jam packed into it so you really have to scour all the aisles. And also come back in frequently because their selection is constantly changing! Great place to sell your old books and games too

Great place for anime and manga enthusiats! The store is filled with figures of all sizes and has a section for manga (Japanese and english) and video games (old school and modern). The prices are decent but remember that most of the items are pre-owned and are being resold. So these aren't "new" products. Still in good shape though! At the very least I would recommend a browse. It's 2 blocks from times square so there's no reason not to go!

I walked in looking for an Invincible comic and had a great experience. The store has a solid selection of comics and a lot of good options overall. Staff was helpful and the shop is easy to browse. They also carry game CDs and offer trade-ins, which is a nice bonus. Overall, a great comic shop and definitely worth checking out. Five stars.

awesome place!! they have so much! i picked up a couple volumes and it's very well organized and tidy. if you're looking for any manga or figures it's absolutely worth a visit! (not to mention the extensive video game collection)

Despite the front entrance area (they do have a lot of old console games, fwiw) they’ve got a decent selection upstairs. The organizing of it is a little strange and indeterminate- it’s not always alphabetical, and some genres get mixed in with others. They do a nifty $1/2 section however, that’s worth browsing through to find cool stuff

Genuinely a very cool spot of you’re into used books, video games, movies, collectibles. They also by back older stuff if you’re looking to unload on some stuff you don’t use anymore. Have bought plenty of books here, they even have a decent selection for low as $1. Worth a stop in if you’re hanging out in Midtown.

This is my Ultimate store to purchase DVD's & CD's for my Collection, as well as many collectibles. They have EVERYTHING for fans of Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Anime, Manga, etc. They sell used books of every type, a huge collection of Dvd's, Cd's, vinyls, video Games and an incredible collection of action figures from horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Anime & Manga. See my photos that were taken today. (1/27/26). That is just a few of the things that they have available. If you are a big fan of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime & Manga, you will not regret visiting this store and you will thank me for it. Oh! Yes! The prices are great as well. Happy Shopping.
